2009 Individual and Family Membership
Together We Can Make a Difference
MGLLCC depends on the generous support of our Members in order to celebrate, advocate and educate our community through the many programs and services we offer. |
In 2009, in celebration of our 20th Anniversary, we have launched a new membership structure which offers a variety of incentives for those who choose to support the work of MGLCC. It is our way of saying "Thank You" to our supporters. Each Member of MGLCC will now receive a Membership Card that will be honored at several local businesses for discounts or benefits. See our list of Member Discounts and MGLCC Business Partners.
As of January, 2009 current active members will automatically be entitled to all benefits at their level of giving until expiration of their membership. Members choosing to upgrade to a higher level will have any dues already paid applied to the new level. Membership must be renewed annually.
See our Membership Levels below and sign up via secure online payment. Keep in mind that MGLCC is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Basic Membership - Individual or Family*
All Basic Members will receive:
- MGLCC Membership Card with discounts at participating businesses
- Advanced notice of MGLCC events
- Weekly newsletter and calendar
- Voting rights in the MGLCC election process
- Small MGLCC (e.g. magnet, sticker)

Friend Members will receive Basic Membership benefits plus:
- Recognition on MGLCC website

- Triangle Journal delivered to your home
- Entrance to private receptions at select MGLCC events
- Discounted passes to Outflix Festival and ohe and other select MGLCC events (1 discounted pass per event can be purchased by an Advocate Member)

Activist Membership
Activist Members will receive all of the above, plus:
- 2 passes to Outflix Festival (non-transferable; replaces Advocate discount)
- 2 VIP seats at select MGLCC events (e.g. Outflix, B&B Auction)
- Advanced preview and reception at MGLCC art exhibits
- Annual recognition in the Triangle Journal
- Partner membership included (must be same household)
